 Yale University's ranking in the 2016 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, 3. Its tuition and fees are $47,600 (2015-16). Founded in 1701, Teaching and research at Yale University are organized through the schools, departments, and programs.The undergraduate school, Yale College, is the heart of the University. More than 2 thousand undergraduate courses in the liberal arts and sciences are offered each year by over sixty-five departments and programs, forming a curriculum of remarkable breadth and depth.
